Obituary published in the Colorado Springs Free Press on Wednesday 24 January 1968 reads Alan DeWitt Sinton Arrangements will be announced later for Mr. Alan DeWitt Sinton, 22, of 3901 Jamitell Road, who died Sunday in Pueblo. Born Nov. 13, 1945, Mr. Sinton was a student locally having graduated from Harrison High School. After attending Transylvania College in Kentucky, he returned to attend, Adams State College. Mr. DeWitt is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Sinton; a brother, Michael, serving with the regular Army in Vietnam; his grandparents, Jefferson Hayes-Davis and Mrs. Doree Hayes-Davis and Herbert Sinton; an aunt, Mrs. John Gray, and an uncle, Addison Hayes-Davis, all of Colorado Springs. Notice published in the Colorado Springs Free Press, on Friday 26 January 1968 reads SINTON Private services for Alan D. Sinton Saturday Stratmoor Hills Methodist Church, the Rev. Paul Murphy, clergyman. Cremation. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to Harrison High School Library.
