All of his children were born at Ballynewry, Co Armagh [WLS/JRHG]. He lived later at Ballinteggart House. He was the author of "Poetic Themes", a copy of which resides in the library of Craigavon Museum Services, Craigavon, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland.
