On the Fourth day of July 1856 at 11 Morris Place, Monteith ??, Marriage (after banns) was solemnized between us according to the Forms of the Established Church of Scotland. James Elliott - Age 24, living at 211 Portugal Street, Glasgow, Tailor Journeyman, Bachelor. Hellen Duncanson - Age 21, living at 211 Portugal Street, Glasgow, ??? at Cotton Mill, Spinster. His Father: Richard Elliott, Heigh Master Fitter. His Mother: Ann Elliott, Maiden surname Fletcher. Her Father: Alexander Duncanson, Farmer (Deceased). Her Mother: Jane Duncanson, Maiden surname ? (Deceased). Minister: ? MacLean, Minister of St. Luke’s. Witness: Hugh McMeckin. Witness: William Neilson. [RFSS Feb 2015] |
