[RFSS May 2013] Obituary published in The Woodbine Twiner SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR MRS. HARRY WILLETT Final rites were held Sunday, July 14, from the First United Presbyterian Church in Woodbine, for Mrs. Myra M. Willett, who passed away July 11. Rev. Harold A.Smith officiated at the services. Music was furnished by C. L. Nicely, with Miss Kathryn Kellow as organist. Bearers were Clifford Thompson, Earle Thompson, Thomas Barry, Paul McKinney, Earl Mackey and Jerome Lowrey. Final interment was in the Woodbine Cemetery. Myra Moore Nourse was born in Rockport, Indiana on November 26, 1880 and passed away on July 11, 1963, at the age of 82 years and 7 months In 1909 she moved to Omaha and for several years was employed as secretary to the Douglas County Treasurer. She was married to Harry C. Willett in December of 1925. They lived on the home farm south of Woodbine until the last four years when she was cared for at the Horton Nursing Home in Logan. She was a woman of many abilities and was an active member of the Presbyterian Church. She was also active in the Woodbine Woman's Clun until failing health confined her to her home. Survivors are her husband, Harry C. Willett; step-son, Dwight Willett of Woodbine; step-daughter, Natalie Stanko of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; one sister, Annetta Paisley of Marion, Ill.; one brother, Robert Nourse of Omaha; two nieces and a nephew.
