Obituary published in York Daily Record & York Dispatch on 28 November, 2012 David Edward Sinton David Edward Sinton, 58 of Jackson Township, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at his residence. He was the husband of Melodee Lynne (Green) Sinton. The couple celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on June 28, 2012. David was born in York on June 17, 1954, the son of Edward H. and Doris (Klawitter) Sinton of York. He was an Instructor for ITT Technical Institute in Harrisburg. He enjoyed being a youth recreational soccer coach in Spring Grove and being a dance dad. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in York. Along with his wife and parents, David leaves three children, Mindy D. Gasparin and her husband, Benjamin of Dover, Matthew D. Sinton of Spring Grove and Megan D. Sinton of Spring Grove and her fiancee, Douglas Groft; a granddaughter, Avery Gasparin; and a brother, Bradley R. Sinton of York. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012, at Faith United Church of Christ, 509 Pacific Ave., York, with a visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. Pastor, Ron Oelrich will be officiating at the service. Burial of the ashes will be private in Mount Rose Cemetery. [RFSS Dec 2013]
