Prudence is in a group photograph taken in 1910, see Photo Her marriage did not last long and there were no children. Eddie preceded her in death in the 1950's. She attended Helen Hunt School and Colorado Springs High School. She worked as a supervisor for the Colorado Springs Day Nursery and had previously been the bookkeeper for the Sinton Dairy Company for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Pamona Grange for 56 years, and served at one time as Lady Assistant Steward. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union. (Colorado Springs Sun, 10 December 1980). Her home, and her parents' before her, was at 509 S. El Paso St. One of the "Sinton Hill" houses built by Joseph Sinton and his family. George's was next to the old dairy location; the other three, a block away. She followed her parents interest in the Pioneer Museum to whom she gave many pictures and clippings. One set of clippings being a series of letters written by Joseph Sinton, to the "Ithacan" newspaper in 1910 telling about how things were 90 years before. El Paso St., will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Swan-Law Cascade Chapel with the Rev. William Starrett officiating. Cremation will follow and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Mick died Sunday in a Colorado Springs hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1896, in Colorado Springs, where she attended local schools. Mrs. Mick was a life-long resident of the city. She worked as a bookkeeper in her parents' business, Sinton Dairy Co., for more than 30 years. Mrs. Mick also worked for nine years for the Colorado Springs Day Care Nursery, retiring in 1956. Mrs. Mick was a member of the Pomona Grange for 56 years, and was a lifetime member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union. Survivors include a niece; four nephews; and several grand-nephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
