Memorial services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Broadmoor Community Church, 315 Lake Ave. with Rev. Mark H. Miller and the Rev. Robert Hewitt officiating. Mr. Sinton, 27, died Wednesday in Durango after being injured in an accident. Obituary in the Colorado Gazette Telegraph, published on Thursday 16 July 1987 reads: THOMAS SPENCER SINTON JR. 27, of Durango died Wednesday after being injured in an auto accident. He owned the Wild Goose Rafting Co. in Durango. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Hood Mortuary, Durango. Service arrangements are pending in Colorado Springs. Mr. Sinton was born on June 9, 1960, in Lincoln, Neb. He graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School and attended Fort Lewis College. He is survived by his wife, Susan MacVeety; parents, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Sinton; two daughters, Callie and Jennifer; two brothers, James and Frank; four sisters, Linda Hammond and Marge, Laura and Mari. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Brothers and Sisters, 900 Main Ave., Durango 81301.
