Maude M. Sinton, 96 of Mt. View Manor, Shamokin, formerly of Pottsville, died Wednesday at the manor, where she had lived for three weeks. Born in Fountain Springs, April 23, 1901, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Smith Dunkleberger. She was raised in Ashland and educated in Ashland schools. She was Pottsville resident for 45 years, owning the former Sinton's Art & Gift Shop, Pottsville. She was member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville, Soroptomist Club of Schuylkill County and Federation of Women's Clubs, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin, in 1945; two brothers , Albert and Boyd Dunkleberger. Surviving are three nieces, including Regina Dunkleberger, Mount Carmel, with whom she resided for five years; a nephew. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from James E, Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The Rev. Charles H. Morris will officiate. Interment will be in Charles Baber Cemetary, Pottsville.
