Down Description of Father: Registration Meeting: Lurgan Meeting, Volume 2, Page 4 [RFSS Mar 2012] Quaker Records Ireland - Death & Burial Details Name: James Sinton Gender: Male Date of Death: 8d 12mo 1827 Residence: Moyallon, Co. Down Age: 56 Years Date of Burial: 12d 12mo 1827 Place of Burial: Moyallon, Co. Down Description: Registration Meeting: Lurgan Meeting, Volume 6, Page 125 [RFSS Mar 2012] Verify this death date. Had he been living after 1818 there should have been some mention of him in the letters. The only James Christy Sinton mentioned belongs to the Cork famiy ["of Quebec"] and is not an uncle. [JHJ] From Quaker records for Lurgan, record number 125, there is a James Sinton who died aged 56 on 8d 12mo 1827 and was buried in Moyallon 12d 12mo 1827. I am sure this is this James.
